Depart your hotel at 09:00, start the day at one of the inner city’s finest local “pho”, Vietnam’s national dish. Large choices of “pho bo” (beef noodle soup) and “Pho ga” (chicken noodle soup). Continue to one of city last remaining ‘wet markets’ where a huge array of produce is sold. In the morning the market is abuzz with shoppers buying what they need for the day’s meals. Everything from fresh tropical fruits, an abundance of fragrant herbs, fresh meats, fresh flowers and even live fish and frogs are sold!  Vietnamese cuisine is highly regarded as one of the world's best, but few realize the variations that are found in the cuisine. At the market, sample some of the available dishes for a second snack today. Then walk through the backstreets where small vendors set up their stalls along the road. Take a rest whilst enjoying some excellent street food including “banh xeo”, and “bun cha” (fresh rice noodles with grilled pork and herbs) or “hoa qua dam” (fresh fruits). Walk down the Old Quarter’s corners, and enjoy a cup of Vietnamese coffee or tea.

Then explore Hanoi's most interesting sights, including the Ho Chi Minh Complex, Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum (outside only) and his Stilt House, the Presidential Palace and the One Pillar Pagoda nearby. Also on the tour will be the Temple of Literature, the sedate Tran Quoc Pagoda. Lastly, enjoy one hour cyclo tour around Hanoi Old Quarter to see the daily life and Hanoian. After lunch, you will take a short trek to a nearby summit for a panoramic view of the bay dotted with golden sails, and then go swimming on a quiet beach or sunbathing on the sundeck. Later in the afternoon, you will visit an interesting fishing village with the opportunity to interact with fishermen who have been living in the bay for almost three generations. From the 16th to 18th century, Hoi An was a thriving international commercial port for Chinese, Dutch, French, Japanese, Portuguese and Arab traders. These people came primarily to trade in the high grade silk, which is still produced in the area, as well as ceramics. Today, Hoi An is a quaint riverside town, popular with tourists for its eclectic architecture, tailors shops, and numerous cafes. Some of the buildings in the narrow streets have remained unchanged for more than a century.

Zig-zagging through breathtaking scenery of rice paddies and farmland, taking stops along the way to learn from friendly local families the art of mat weaving, farming and how to make (and eat) the perfect banh dap (rice cracker). Riding into a small village we stop at a local café to fuel up on local drip-coffee, gearing up for an adrenalin pumping 300 metre bamboo bridge river crossing to the opposing landscape of the sea-board side of the island making our way to Duy Hai market and harbour. Day 12: Cu Chi by speedboat - Half a day city tour (B/L)

Many travelers go by road to Cu Chi, but you will take a half day excursion by waterway to the famous tunnels, which stretched for over 200 km and became legendary during the 1960s when they played a vital part in the American War.

The new way to visit the tunnels is very convenient, taking just 1 hour and 15 minutes to get from Ho Chi Minh City, with NO traffic jams! You can admire the perspective of the HCMC skyline as you cruise upstream on the new yacht.

Your adventure starts from Bach Dang Pier, and you will go on a scenic tour to discover thenatural beauty and Vietnamese lifestyle along the river bank. Binh Duong Province is on the right hand side and Ho Chi Minh City on the left as you begin cruising through the frontier and you willed be amazed that just a few minutes from Bustling Saigon, there lies a peaceful countryside and amazing life in the world of water.

The boat will continue to Cu Chi (Ben Dinh) which now is a popular spot for both Vietnamese and foreign tourists. Here, you will you step into a jungle of banyan trees and take a short walk to the “iron triangle” of Cu Chi. You will have plenty of time to explore the tunnel system and watch a video about them, which includes commentary from former soldiers to help you better understand the history of the area. In their heyday, the tunnels were a functioning underground city, including numerous trap doors, specially constructed living areas, storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers & kitchens. After an hour and a half visiting the tunnels, you will go on boat back to Saigon where the tour ends at your hotel.

In the afternoon,  you will have a private tour of Ho Chi Minh City, the country's commercial center and home to a growing number of upscale restaurants and shops. You'll visit the Reunification Palace, the Opera House and the Hotel de Ville. If you desire, you can visit the powerful War Remnants Museum. Later, explore colorful outdoor markets and Dong Khoi Street, the city's main shopping boulevard, with fashionable boutiques and accessories designed by up-and-coming Vietnamese designers. Overnight in HCMC.

Day 13: Ben Tee full day tour ( B/L)

Ben Tre is the best option for a day trip to the Mekong Delta from Saigon, since it is only around 2 hours away, and 15 minutes from My Tho. However, this wonderful destination retains an authenticity which has been somewhat lessened in nearby My Tho.

This picturesque and friendly Mekong Delta town has historically seen very few travelers, but the recent opening of a bridge connecting Ben Tre and My Tho has made it far easier for day trippers to visit from Saigon.

Our one day cruise excursion starts at 8:00 am from the lobby of your hotel in Saigon with a drive to Ben Tre. While there, you can take a walk along the waterfront, lined with French era shops and houses, and you'll see plenty of coconuts being unloaded from boats for dispatch around the country. Then, jump on a boat for a couple of hours of cruising on the Mekong River. You will enjoy your delicious lunch at a local restaurant or on board. The excursion will end at around 4:00pm where the vehicle will await you for your transfer back to Saigon.

Day 14: Ho Chi Minh City - Departure (B)

There is no activity planned for today, so you are free to enjoy your free time souvenir shopping until transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
